Master Promissory Note - Direct Loan

William D. Ford Federal Direct Master Promissory Note

Students who borrow through the Federal Direct Loan Program (Subsidized, Unsubsidized, and/or Plus) while at the University of Georgia are required to sign a Master Promissory Note. These notes will be mailed to the student's permanent address, but you can save time and go online to complete the MPN.

This is a fast and easy process. The University of Georgia receives acknowledgement of signed Master Promissory Notes within 3-5 business days. We will process your loan funds, apply it to your Student Account balance, and disburse any remaining funds to you.
