Accessing My Student Account

Listed below are some improved features you will want to consider taking advantage of when accessing your student account. TO access your account and use these features, select MY STUDENT ACCOUNT (https://studentacct.uga.edu) from www.bursar.uga.edu. You will use MyID and password to access your account from this site. You will also need to know the last 4 digits of your Student Identification Number (this is NOT your social security number).



Enroll in Direct Deposit - You can now have your financial aid disbursement and overpayments on your student account direct deposited into your checking or savings account. Select Enroll in Direct Deposit, next select the My Profiles tab. You will then need to complete the Add a Payment Method.

Add an Authorized User - From this page, you can give others (parents, employers, etc.) the ability to access your account information. In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), your student financial records may not be shared with a third party without your written consent. Adding an authorized user is your written consent that an individual may view your account information and make payments on your behalf. Please note that authorized users DO NOT have access to your stored payment methods, academic records, or other personal information. To add an authorized user select the Authorized User tab. The Authorized user will need to know the last 4 digits of your Student Identification Number when accessing your account. Note: This is NOT your social security number.

Use your Savings or Checking Account to Make Payment - You will now be able to make a payment form your checking or savings account. You can set this up by selecting the Payments tab or the My Profiles tab and then Payment Profile.

Make a Payment Using a Credit Card - The University has contracted with a third-party vendor to accept credit card payments. The third-party vendor accepts American Express, Discover and MasterCard as payment with a service fee of 2.75 percent of the transaction total (minimum $3 fee). You can select credit card as an option by selecting the Payments tab and then Make a Payment. Choose Credit Card via PayPath* as your option.
